De Scholvert Details
De Scholvert is an arable land farm of 50 hectare located in the east of the Netherlands. The farmhouse is build on a centuries old man-made hill (terp) located in the floodplains of the river Rhine. Soil type is sandy clay. We grow wheat, sometimes barley and are specialized in seed production of ryegrass, canola, mustard and seed potatoes. The farm land is located next to nature reserve named 'de oude Rijn' at the border with Germany.
