Detroit Horse Power is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission to expand opportunities for urban youth through riding and caring for horses. Since 2015, DHP has offered free horseback riding summer camps to more than 200 Detroit students. Detroit Horse Power's vision is to build a new urban horseback riding center on vacant land in Detroit that will be home to year-round youth programming and supports stronger communities.
