The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is a government agency responsible for leading the digital transformation of the public sector in Australia. Based in Canberra, the DTA works to improve the way government services are delivered to citizens and businesses through the use of technology and design thinking. The agency is responsible for strategic and policy leadership on whole-of-government and shared information and communications technology (ICT) investments and digital service delivery. The DTA's mission is to make government services simpler, clearer, and faster for all Australians. To achieve this, the agency focuses on user-centred design, service design, and service delivery, leveraging technology to improve the citizen experience. The DTA works closely with other government agencies, industry partners, and the community to co-design and deliver digital services that meet the needs of citizens and businesses.
