At an age of 14, Stef became very interested in the upcoming dance scene in Holland and was inspired and influenced by the whole new generations of DJ/producers. He bought his first Technics LP vinyl turntables and played at school parties and various birthday parties. This was the first experience as a DJ, and the journey continues since then. Stef played at numerous locations, beach clubs, bars, stores, restaurants and clubs in the major Amsterdam area.Late 2009 he starts the brand DJ SAYE, which stands for 'Share All Your Energy', as his leading DJ brand. Uplifting, soulful and groovy UK house music, with lots of vocals, Latin influence and strong bass lines are mainstream in his sets. Peak state performances and seamless blending of all forms of house music garnered a big following. It's all about sharing the one same energy, dancing on the same beats, which creates an enormous flow. Stef also plays with live artists, like saxophone players, vocalists/live PA etc. to support and give an extra dimension to the total experience. Stef's biggest talent is to mesmerize every crowd he is playing, winning him popularity. Of course, without losing his own identity.In 2013 he focuses on international trips and performances, as he sees major opportunities in exporting the Dutch house sounds.
