Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home has been serving families in the Irving and surrounding areas since September of 1963. Mr. A.M. 'Mike' Donnelly (1925-2000) and his wife, Mary Ellen, moved to Irving in the early sixties to purchase a three acre tract of land on an undeveloped section of Highway 183, with the intent of establishing a spacious family-owned funeral home. At that time, only two other funeral homes were present in Irving: Black's Funeral Home on South Britain and Leach Funeral Home on Second and O'Connor. Since its beginnings, Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home has remained under the same ownership of the Donnelly family, and our commitment to the families we serve has remained the top priority to all the Donnelly family, funeral directors, and staff.
