Responsibilities:-• Financial Director for the company handling all fiscal requirements in terms of the South African Revenue Service including Pay as you Earn, VAT etc• Reporting to Estate Agency Affairs Board with regulatory requirements for our membership there • Administration back up for Agents (ranging between 7 to 10 agents consistently employed), assisting with valuations and presentations of offers • Training of agents on an adhoc basis in line with Estate Agency Affairs Boards Educational Requirements • Estate Agent – Telephone canvassing as well as door to door knocking to bring on new business. As a selling Principal of the agency I was still responsible for my own sales of residential property. Canvassing for new homes to sell, attending sales appointments, securing mandates, marketing homes, sitting showhouse, presenting offers, negotiating terms of contracts, follow up until registration• Marketing – set up of advertising, marketing and promotions for the company in conjunction with our administrator and assisted with design work• Organised Awards functions, golf days etc• Recruiting of Agents and staff
