It all started when Poleen and Manny, both foodies, spent hours trying to find a service that did not give them food-in-a-box. They ordered from best of the restaurants for food delivery and tried almost all meal kits. "It doesn't matter what restaurant you order from, nor the food delivery service you choose, its common sense that restaurant food was expensive and lost its quality by the time it gets delivered.On the other hand, DIY meal kits did have good recipes, but cooking it became a chore. Its preparation just became our focal point everyday. As much as we both enjoyed spending time together while cooking, we were just exhausted by the hassle of cleaning and planning meals"After talking with friends, Poleen and Manny identified that they were not alone - and hence Easy Platter was born. Personal cooks prepare everyday meals and not just an event/party. Easy Platter connects local chefs / cooks with people who want fresh, healthy and delicious food prepared right in their kitchen.
