Do you need help learning how to advocate for your child's rights?The Education Advocates team is comprised of certified advocates, therapists, administrators, and parents all furthering the education of young students everywhere. We strive to ensure all students get fair and equal access to education at all levels.Our goal in providing advocacy services is to empower parents to be able to advocate for their student. It is not uncommon for school staff to be unfamiliar with what services and supports are available for students with disabilities, to try to employ a one-size-fits all approach, or to fail to really listen and address the concerns of the family. Parents should be active and informed members of any group that makes educational decisions for their child. We will help you be an empowered and informed parent.πππ ππ πππ₯π¦πππ‘ππ₯Executive Director, Jamie Kirschner, mother to 16 year old Grace and founder of the nonprofit Target Your Purpose Inc., is delighted to introduce herself as Executive Director to the first advocacy education center in southwest Florida.After 23 years serving as a principal, assistant principal, special education teacher, mentor, and philanthropist, Jamie's passion and purpose in life are clear. Driven to advocate and lobby for our youth's education while teaching and encouraging individuals frustrated by navigating "the system", Jamie and her team help people find their way. Ms. Kirschner's vision plus her persistent commitment to the mission has inspired others to join her side in creating EAA (Education Advocates of America), now in three states.Jamie and her team strive to build connections, target purpose, and provide resources to those in need across America by educating families on how to persevere within their current school or home setting. Ms. Kirschner believes educating, building relationships, and supporting local communities produces lasting success, as well as a better place to live for everyone.
