Hi, my name is Elsa, I am the founder and one of the trainers at EF Training & Consultancy.First a little bit about me. I trained as an adult nurse in the NHS and then specialised in Neonatal nursing. I have spent over 20 years dealing with emergencies and acting as a first aider. As a trainer I use these first-hand experiences to present how to deal with real-life situations.My work as a neo-natal nurse involves caring for very premature and very sick babies. These very fragile children need intensive care treatment. I still work in the NHS working with an amazing Team – the NTS, Neonatal Transport Services. Our job is to stabilise the sickest of new-born babies and escalating their care to different hospitals around London. Most of these transfers are emergencies so I normally work under very stressful conditions.Why have I chosen to launch EF Training and Consultancy? My experience in the NHS means that I am a true believer that the first few minutes of any incident or accident are the most important. Knowing what to do and acting promptly can mean the difference between life or death.I am passionate about providing people the confidence and knowledge to act promptly in an emergency giving the person in crisis the best chance of survival.My family wholeheartedly believe in this message and so it was easy to enlist their help in supporting EF Training and Consultancy. My husband and children work behind the scenes to ensure you have a quality training experience on the day.So come along to one of our sessions.
