The Company is worldwide pioneer in the development of cannabidiol and cannabigerol chemical derivatives that improve the therapeutic properties of the natural hit compounds. Emerald Health Biotechnology España was founded in 2003 as a spin-off of the AINP (FP-V) and Cannabis (FP-VI) EU projects by a group of internationally renowned researchers in biomedicine, pharmacology and chemistry of natural products with the name of Vivacell Biotechnology España. Emerald Health Biotechnology España is based at the Technological & Scientific Park of Córdoba (Spain). The current pipeline of the company includes three Series of compounds targeting the endocannabinoid system (Series 5, Series 6 and Series 7).
