Emerald Health Biotechnology España was founded in 2003 as a spin-off of the AINP (FP-V) and Cannabis (FP-VI) EU projects by a group of internationally renowned researchers in biomedicine, pharmacology and chemistry of natural products with the name of Vivacell Biotechnology España. Emerald Health Biotechnology España is based at the Technological & Scientific Park of Córdoba (Spain). The current pipeline of the company includes three Series of compounds targeting the endocannabinoid system (Series 5, Series 6 and Series 7).
