OverviewMr. Mohammad Sozon is a young, energetic and visionary leader who is passionate to work in learning and development sector to create enlighten future leaders. Keeping this moto in mind, in 2018, he established Enlighten-world Foundation with a view to Enlightening the Future Leader through sharing knowledge, experience and promoting quality education for ensuring sustainable individual and community development. His novel initiative became successful when he was selected from Bangladesh to join in the 4th Asia Pacific Youth Exchange Program held from July 08-20, 2018 at Bangkok, Thailand where 150 participants from 22 countries participated. This International program was jointly organized by Urban Youth Academy in collaboration with UNDP, Thailand to actively engage the youth in localized SDG initiatives. As part of the two weeks program, Mr. Sozon along with other foreign delegates visited local immersion site Bang Dogn Bang situated in Roi Et, Northeastern, Thailand to design innovate projects that respond to the community & global needs.Mr. Sozon and his team members worked on several social and global issues under the mentorship of Erwin Lizarondo , Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship Consultant, from Philippine. Mr. Sozon & his team Ms. Makara Ngin, Cambodia, Ms. Wenxiu Sun, Chaina, Mr. Antonio Nyuyen, Vietnam & Ms. Palak Joshi, India won the 1st prize from HIS Excellency Mr. Ml. Panadda Ditsakul, Deputy Minister – Ministry of Education, Thailand for designing the Innovative Projects called Trash4cash. Although Mr. Sozon won the award for waste management project, he was passionate to implement the education project that address the SDG goal # 04 Quality Education. he shared his view with his APYE batch mate Mr. Sabari Ganesan, Singapore to implement the project in Bangladesh. After lots of huddle, Enlighten-world Foundation has been established in Bangladesh to fulfill the mission of Enlightening the Future Leaders.
