The Ethical Property Foundation is the property advice charity for the UK voluntary sector. Every year we provide expert free advice and training for 300 - 400 organisations as well as free online guidance on our website. www.propertyhelp.org In the last 12 months the Foundation has saved 7 organisations from financial collapse through poor property management and helped 20 more avoid the closure of vital services and redundancies. Besides every sort of office premises, we have given advice on village halls, religious buildings, community centres, pop-up art galleries, charity shops and old theatres. We deliver our work with a small in–house team, senior Associates and a Register of experienced property professionals, solicitors and surveyors who provide support on a pro bono or discounted fee basis. Since 2015 the Foundation has been referral partner with the Charity Commission for land and property advice and we also work with a range of funders. including the Lloyds Bank Foundation and City Bridge Trust. In addition to our free support to the sector, we have developed a range of affordable consultancy services for charities looking to plan and manage premises in the long term. These include property health checks, energy performance checks, property strategies, as well as executive property coaching for charity managers and trustees. Every two years we also publish the Charity Property Matters Survey which is the only sector-led ongoing research of the voluntary sector's property experience. Download the latest findings free from our website. If you would like to support our work in your area, do contact us today. www.propertyhelp.org
