EuroGames, the European Gay & Lesbian Championships, is an annual European sporting event governed by the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF). It is the biggest athletic event for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Europe.The 12th EuroGames were held in Barcelona, Spain from July 24 to 27, 2008. Since two global LGBT sports events are held in Europe in 2009 (Outgames Copengahen) and 2010 (Gay Games in Cologne), there will be no EuroGames in these two years.Next EuroGames will be in 2011 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and in 2012 in Budapest, Hungary.
