European Specialties has been specializing in authentic, handcrafted, classically and ethnically correct, primarily Eastern-European sausages, hams, salamis and other meat and poultry products (70+ varieties) for over 30 years. Almost a decade ago European Specialties added a second brand dedicated to 20+ varieties of patented, high-end, gourmet seafood sausages, salamis, wood smoked fish and fishery products, and ultra-high-end, sustainable and controversy-free fish Foie Gras products, available seasonally. In December of 2013, having obtained kosher certification by Igud Hakashrus of Los Angeles (aka Kehilla Kosher), European Specialties entered Glatt Kosher market by adding two more brands: one dedicated to a variety of classically and ethnically-correct as well as novel-flavored Glatt Kosher grilling sausages, breakfast links, cooked and dry-cured salamis, deli meats, on- and off-the-bone hams and other forms of meat and poultry charcuterie totaling over 50 tantalizing varieties, as well as vegetarian and vegan, health-conscious sausages and patties along with private label, Chalav Yisrael cheeses and dairy products aimed at the discerning gourmets keeping strictly kosher; and the second one dedicated to kosher fish sausages and salamis. While employing the most cutting-edge technologies to maintain utmost quality and safety of our products along with extending shelf life, we are still a small batch processor allowing us to always remain focused on delivering the ultimate culinary experience for every customer and meet and exceed everyone's expectations, regardless of their palate. Over the years our products have been carried by Chalet Gourmet / Bristol Farms, Gelson's Markets, Whole Foods Markets, Price Club / Costco, Ron's Markets, Jon's Markets, Santa Monica Seafood, Western Glatt Kosher Markets, numerous smaller ethnic markets and various high end hotels and restaurants throughout California, Nevada and Arizona.
