The Extension Method™ is an innovative program of physical conditioning and rehabilitative techniques based on the fundamentals of classical ballet. Conceived by Jennifer Nichols, professional dancer and fitness specialist, The Extension Method™ combines classical ballet technique with contemporary athletic conditioning and is designed to impart the strength, posture, ease of movement, and sculpted physique of a dancer. The method is adapted for individually tailored programs as well as group sessions. Toronto's newest movement boutique, the Extension Room, is located in the heart of the downtown core. The new home of The Extension Method™ is the brainchild of professional dancer and fitness specialist, Jennifer Nichols. The Extension Room offers a unique and diverse array of fitness and dance classes, workshops and special events guided by professional dancers yet designed for everyone at all fitness levels. The first of its kind in Toronto, the Extension Room is located in a beautiful brick and beam renovated dance studio space at 530 Richmond St. W. (@ Augusta).
