Ezra USA, founded in December 2002, is a youth movement working with Russian-speaking Jewish students and young adults in North America. Ezra has been a key provider of Taglit Birthright Israel trips and post-birthright programming for Russian Jewish Community. What does Ezra do: Ezra's diverse programs create joyful, rich and fun Jewish experiences. They include: • Their own tailor-made Taglit Birthright Israel trips, to promote a life-long commitment to the State of Israel. • Poland-Israel leadership seminars. • Jewish-themed international travel to Europe, Argentina South Africa etc., lectures. • Joyful Shabbat Dinners showing the centrality of Shabbat in Jewish life • Charity events promoting Tzedakah and giving to the community as a key Jewish value. Where does Ezra work: Today, there are Ezra USA branches in New York and Boston, with plans to open centers in Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
