FairVote California Details
FairVote California, a project of FairVote, is a nonpartisan organization that advocates for electoral solutions that give voters more voice and greater choice. Our work includes: -Improving our democracy through research, advocacy, and support of electoral reforms at the local and state level. -Supporting effective implementation of ranked choice voting (RCV) in current cities such as Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and San Leandro, and providing technical assistance for communities that wish to adopt RCV in the future. -Working closely with California's electoral reform advocates, civil rights groups, and allies seeking to enhance voting rights. -Connecting with community leaders, election officials, journalists, and scholars around the state to better understand current challenges and opportunities to make California's voting laws fairer and more representative.
