Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department was Chartered in May of 1952. The handful of members met at Sampson's store, and operated with a 1926 Seagrave pumper truck. We currently have approximately 42 active members, including a few women, and several members who are our support staff. We have approximately 107 square miles of coverage radius in both Washington and Greene Counties, including 9 miles of Interstate 81. We have 2 engines, 2 tankers, 1 brush unit, 1 medical first responder truck, 1 support truck and 1 multi purpose utility trailer. The Fall Branch VFD is a non-profit organization that provides Fire-Rescue protection to the Fall Branch community and surrounding areas for the citizens and visitors of Washington County, Tennessee. Our mission is to strive to provide the citizen's and visitors of the Fall Branch and surrounding areas a professional Fire & Rescue service by a volunteer staff that is made possible by the public's support in donations and the member's dedication to the community Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department P.
