Fine Air (now defunct) founded by J Frank Fine was a leading all-cargo airline to Latin America headquartered in Miami employing nearly 1,000 people worldwide with a fleet of fourteen DC-8 Freighters and one L-1011 Freighter. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2000 and merged with Arrow Air, Inc., eliminating the Fine Air name. The Fine family would no longer control the company.
