My wife and I came to America in 2016 to fulfill our dreams and goals. My wife is a home maker and I work in IT. We were having a good life (better than where we were). We had our 1st child and expecting a 2nd one in 2019. Outside work we were part of a community (friends, colleagues, and relatives). We all had jobs and our lifestyle revolved around it. Around Dec of 2019 my dad was ill and got admitted in emergency overnight. We were on flight in less than 24 hours. Dad was in the ICU and on Ventilator. I was in the hospital 24/7. One night, he was gasping and losing his breath. Dr's asked me to stay by his side. I rushed to his room, sitting by his side holding his hand feeling his heartbeat. I wanted to hug him and sleep on his heart like the way I used to as a 5-year-old. Hold his little finger and walk with him as a proud son. I was shattered with all the wires and ventilator on him. Is this it? I lost my control, staff dragged me to a quiet room, and I had nothing but pray. Through almighty's blessing and his willpower, he won that night and within a week he was discharged from hospital. We were happy and celebrating his rebirth. However, he was unhappy for all the expenses incurred. Worried about "what if something would have happened". Our family would have zero income coming in for all his efforts.I am in the same shoes as dad. I trade my time for dollars. So, we took generating passive income seriously.Through my brother I met a group of successful entrepreneurs. We were intrigued by the results they have created. We came to know they run a private mentorship program for a selected group of entrepreneurs. We pursued them and were lucky enough to earn an offer for their mentorship. Over the past two years our trajectory has been shifted by 180 degrees for better. As we saw tremendous results in our personal life, we choose to pay it back by taking the mentorship group forward and helping qualified individuals in accomplishing their FDS
