Founded in 2007, First Green Energy (FGE) is a Canadian based hydroelectric operations and development services company. Operations Management: FGE provides operations management services for hydroelectric facilities which includes environmental and regulatory compliance management, resource and plant optimization programs, general maintenance planning, emergency repair works and regular production and incident reporting services. Development Consulting Services: FGE has played a critical role in the preparation and submission of more than 200 MW ($800M) in hydroelectric Power Purchase Agreements (PPA). The company has recently been successful in the development of 5 awarded proposals in British Columbia and Ontario. FGE provides industry expertise, proposal preparation services, permitting and EA related management, as well as general development assistance to developers and other interested parties. We provide hydroelectric assessments for development and acquisitions, as well as help facilitate development partnering arrangements.
