A U.S. 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving Filipino children's health and access to education by providing footwear for those whose feet are bare. http://www.flopsforflips.org/Our goal is a simple one: provide a pair of flip flops to children whose feet are bare.In the Philippines, there is an overly abundant amount of young Filipino kids who actually believe it is a luxury to own sandals or shoes. The impoverished culture they live in perpetuates that reality. Making ends meet to survive is their priority. About a third of the population wallows in poverty, living on less than $2 a day. Lost amongst their daily struggles is the ability to afford basic footwear for the children in many villages. Their country is also heavily affected by natural disasters such as tropical storms, floods and earthquakes.By supporting our cause, your small donation will be used to provide a pair of flip flops to a âFlipâ (or Filipino) child in need.We chose flip flops as our specific donation because it is a simple gift to provide a necessity that can be given to the multitude of destitute kids and make an actual difference in their everyday lives.In the big picture, your generosity will help protect a child from the danger of debris and disease rampant in their streets.To make a donation today, please visit: http://www.flopsforflips.org/
