FFWIA exists for the purpose of promoting Sustainable Development with Regard to Water (SDRW) in regions of Africa where the organization believes it's assistance will result in the greatest Positive Impact (PI). Positive Impact is quantified as a key performance indicator as part of the FFWIA's operations, among it's other analysis of data regarding the world's water.FFWIA primarily engages in awarding grants for establishing stewards in a self-sustaining system of vocational education and training specializing in Sustainable Development with Regard to Water (SDRW). Secondarily, FFWIA will award grants to establish new infrastructure and improve current infrastructure for the purposes of discovery and retrieval of water, testing and improving water quality, irrigation and the management of soil moisture.
