FratWood began building custom tables for fraternities in 2017. What originally started as a few fraternity brothers building tables in a sketchy garage quickly turned into something so much more. Our first custom bulk order was to a fraternity at Indiana University, and after a small hiccup with the neighbors, freight fraud, and a police escort to our garage, the tables made it safe and sound to Indiana and FratWood was born.FratWood was a good idea, even Billy McFarland agreed. After pitching FratWood to Billy in March of 2017, he offered us a large amount of money to make FratWood the biggest wooden tailgating table company the in the U.S. One month later, after several insufficient wire transfers, Fyre Festival blew up and Billy was arrested. FratWood lived on. FratWood became the leading wooden tailgating table company in the country. FratWood builds custom, foldable, wooden tailgating tables for the men and women who want to make a statement with their wood, not with plastic.Our mission is to fight imported plastic by bringing American wood to tailgates. We knew this wouldn't be possible with a poorly made table... so we teamed up with one of the top woodworkers in Oregon and designed a beautiful, unique, foldable and transportable wooden table.
