We are the Friends of Lynn & Nahant Beach, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Lynn Shore and Nahant Beach reservations. The reservations, which are adjacent to one another, are operated by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). Hundreds of thousands of area residents flock to these parks each year to walk, run, swim, paint, play, and bird-watch. If you havent visited, we invite you to experience what many on the north shore describe as a hidden jewel. There is ample parking at both parks. Note that there is a small charge to use the Nahant Beach parking lot during the summer.The Friends sponsor a summer concert series, beach clean-ups, park volunteer days, and educational activities.
