Fruandex Ltda. is a dried fruit exporting company founded in 2006 mainly focused to supply high quality Dried Fruits to main distributors, wholesalers, retail packagers & food industry importers in Europe and Latin America. The company was founded within the context of a group of Chilean companies related to Real Estate, Construction and Information Technology that had interest in venturing in a new business area with direct participation of growers of prunes, grapes and other fruits. In 2006 we began the construction of a dehydration and process plant and currently our annual production capacity is 6.000 tons of prunes, 3.000 tons of raisins, 500 tons of dehydrated apples and 500 tons of dehydrated pears & peaches. Our tunnel drying capacity is capable of dehydrating our total production, allowing us to offer a reliable product that has been processed from its origin by Fruandex. Our business is integrated with the main growers of each product; resulting in full tracking capability of our production process from the orchards. The technical and quality team is led by vastly experienced professionals in handling dried fruit from a technical point of view. Regarding product quality assurance, we have implemented HACCP & ISO 9001 with Bureau Veritas, complemented with on-line laboratories of physical/chemical analysis and microbiological analysis to assure food safety for final customers. Currently, Fruandex exports directly to main importers in markets such as Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Brazil, Mexico and other Latin American countries. We are also starting to develop new markets in Asia and Middle East.
