The focus of the Melbye-Konan Gallery is on contemporary art. The gallery exhibits established and emerging artists from Africa in dialogue with established Western artists. The light-flooded, architecturally outstanding exhibition rooms with a ceiling height of five metres and an exhibition area of 400 square metres offer space for creative design concepts at museum level.Galerie Melbye-Konan is one of the top galleries in Germany and, according to Artnet, one of the galleries on the "Venice Biennale Power List". Currently, the artist Yeanzi, exlusively represented by the gallery, is exhibiting at the Biennale Arte de Venezia in the Ivory Coast Pavilion (23 April - 27 November 2022).The gallery also exhibits at international art fairs, and collaborates with museums and institutions for curatorial projects.Regular gallery talks, art dinners and exclusive events make the gallery a unique venue for art exchange.
