The Gay and Lesbian Campus Association of China (GLCAC) was founded in 2006, as the first public welfare organization for protecting LGBT youth and creating a compassionate atmosphere for issues related to gender and sexuality in schools. Through promoting the development of LGBT youth communities, providing gender-related training programs for teachers, and initiating research and proposals, we have appealed for equal rights for LGBT people in China for more than ten years. At present, we conduct our work mainly in Guangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing and Nanchang, with a staff of approximately 70, including full-time employees, interns and volunteers.Our MissionWith the joint effort of both teachers and students, we strive to promote LGBT-friendly school environments and equal rights for LGBT youth.
