GirlUp Sky is a youth-led organisation under the Girl Up campaign that seeks to create a space where everyone feels welcome and included.We want to focus on lesser-known issues and create a tangible social change. We believe that even small efforts can create a huge impact in the social sphere. We want to focus on one step at a time, one community at a time through you. Founded by the United Nations Foundation in 2010, the Girl Up campaign is an initiative to help support UN agencies that focus on empowering young adults. It is a leadership initiative, encouraging the global youth to step up by joining the global movement for gender equality. The campaign's fundraising efforts support the UN's programs focusing on education, health, social and economic opportunities, and a life free from violence.
