Girl Up is a campaign of the United Nations Foundation dedicated to securing equal opportunities for underprivileged adolescent girls in developing countries like Ethiopia, Malawi, Guatemala and India. Since Girl Up's launch in 2010, they have partnered with the United Nations to support comprehensive programs that give adolescent girls in developing countries an equal chance for education, health, social and economic opportunities and a life free from violence. There are 3300+ clubs in more than 120 countries that stand up and speak up for the cause of Girl Up. A Girl Up Club is a group of dedicated youth who join together with the common commitment to inspire, educate and empower the people and communities around them. It is an officially recognised club, all the meetings and activities are aligned with the Girl Up mission and benefit the UN programs Girl Up supports. Girl Up Zia is the Indian School of Business and Finance Chapter of Girl Up India with an aim to uplift, educate and empower communities.
