Girls Got Heart (GGH) is an incorporated charity founded by two everyday Brisbane mums. Their passion for exercise and wellbeing has inspired them to give back to this worthy cause while doing something they love:Girls Got Heart's mission is to raise money and awareness to support specialist health services getting to our rural counterparts in outback Australia. We believe that regardless of postcode we are all deserving of critical health care.Girls Got Heart recognises the value of community and believe that individuals working together can make a real difference. GGH creates challenging cycle events for women, covering multiply days travelling through rural Australia. We do not race but work as a team and ride as one peloton supporting each rider.Heart disease is the leading cause of deaths in Australia and people living in rural and remote areas are up to 44% more likely to die from the condition than their city-dwelling counterparts.
