* GLOBAL HOME NETWORK * RED DOMÉSTICA GLOBAL * RÉSEAU DOMESTIQUE GLOBAL *The Global Home Network is a response to the UN's New Urban Agenda to uphold the basic human right to adequate and affordable housing by 2030, and all organisations and individuals within the network are committed to the eradication of housing poverty in all its forms. It is a non-entity network of like-minded organisations and individuals committed to collaboration across the globe. The New Urban Agenda advocates an integrated approach to housing which links education, employment, health and social services via collaboration from all levels of governments, civil society organisations, major interest groups and corporations, nationally, internationally and regionally. The Global Home Network therefore welcomes all practitioners committed to our objectives: * The "right to safe, secure and affordable housing" for all global citizens* The acknowledgement of the need to have solutions without borders – because the challenges that we face as global citizens are also without borders* Collaboration must be in the DNA of the organisation – the long term vision is that we will work to build houses across borders creating new entities to take advantage of new paradigms developing across the globe* Research backed global communication strategies to ensure all levels of governments and the UN remain committed to this critically important infrastructure
