Global TA Associates is TA with a pedigree, building on the foundation and true to the legacy and concept of the originator, Eric Berne. With his world-changing book, Games People Play, Eric began bridging the chasm between conventional psychoanalysis and people on the street. He called this method Transactional Analysis.The "family tree" of the originator of TA, Eric Berne is unbroken from the inception of the idea to today. Eric's friends Bob and Mary Goulding carried the idea into the judicial world through a pilot program in Oklahoma City where Jut and Elissa Meininger became interested. Jut wrote the first ever TA book for a specific market (corporate) Success Through Transactional Analysis, and followed with the first ever "how-to" TA book, How To Run Your Own Life.Jut and Elissa Meininger personal and professional relationship with Danna G. Hallmark in 1991 corresponded loosely with Jut's finalization of his four ego state model. They worked together for over 20 years writing and perfecting that model to introduce to the field. Now that Jut is deceased (2008), Danna is carrying on their work that has developed, without a break, from the inception. This methodology is now known as Applied TA and Human Interaction Analysis. The company Global TA Associates has been formed to promote that work and move it forward.
