Gnaan Foundation is a nonprofit organization operated mainly in Bangalore, aimed at giving the gift of knowledge where it really matters: at the individual level. We believe that an hour spent educating a group of children personally is more likely to make a difference than support extended at the administration level.The organization is focused on providing education in any form to those who are deprived of it. Personal tutoring, donation of books, provision of basic infrastructural requirements that are crucial for the child's educational enrichment; all are a priority of the foundation.According to Govt statistics, there is a shortage of more than 1 million teachers in Primary schools nationwide. We also hope to compensate for that gap by whatever means we can.
