Good Samaritan is a community based crowdfunding platform and data management system built to bridge the gap between service design and civic participation. This project enables everyday people to contribute small donations alongside other neighbors in order to enhance infrastructure in local neighborhoods. Our reward system offers civic members, community badges that they may place on their resume for volunteering and contributing to community enhancements. (Better sidewalks, enhanced fences, solar streetlights, fixed potholes, more)The vision is to see more people involved in our everyday problems and feel rewarded for their contribution to a better future.
