Est 2006, Gourmet Glaze Doughnuts was created with the vision to become a national franchise model. In the early years, the pastry team worked tirelessly to deliver 22 hand picked flavours which resulted in an overwhelming response from the public. When the doors opened, customers poured in floods to get their deliciously yummy treats into their bellies. The coffees were made with love, not for profit. At $2 before 10am everyday, customers could feel guilt free, dipping their treats into a freshly brewed cup of coffee - the result? happiness. The dream went on for a number of years until the management team discovered a way to spread the love - lets build this into a franchise! Plenty of hours went into researching on how to convert complacent souls into happy doughnut creators! The model was made and the interest come flowing in.. but on the brink of expansion, the GFC entered the world of retail and shops became harder to run.The business was sold to new owners in 2013 who wanted to strive with the same vision, but they had number of unfortunate events that resulted in Gourmet Glaze finally closing its doors in 2015.We would like to thank all the support over the past 9 years and maybe one day, doughnuts will be made this way again.GG Team <3 <3
