greenXchange Details
greenXchange is an initiative by the Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) to establish a platform for young professionals from Israel and Germany who are in any way involved in the environmental field – whether as lawyers, engineers or biologists. The members take part in annual seminars where they learn about innovative technologies, environmental policy and green start-ups in both countries. Afterwards, they develop and pursue their own projects in cooperation with JNF-KKL and external partners. Additionally, greenXchange hosts other activities such as field trips or workshops on environmental topics. With this approach, the program serves as a new basis for environmental cooperation between Israel and Germany and for exchange and understanding between young professionals of different cultural and professional backgrounds.
