Viktor Ilich Classical guitarist, Professor, Arranger, Engraving editorViktor Ilich was born in Serbia where he gained basic music education, graduated at the Faculty of Musical Arts in the Belgrade, Serbia. After finishing a Master program at a Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, Viktor successfully passed through entrance examination at Prince Claus Conservatoire, Groningen, Netherlands, under the patronage of her royal majesty a Queen Beatrix II... Virtuosity, very quick reading of notes and a wide range of styles from a Baroque to modern composers are the features that make this artist.Not just concerts are a sphere of Viktor's action, already equally devotes time to pedagogy and the extension of the guitar solo and duo repertoire, which refers to the adaptation of compositions not originally written for a guitar. The collection of a Viktor's transcriptions currently includes 150 works and over 50 composers from 10 styles. Although he is generally oriented towards a transcription creating, his pupils and students have won over 10 awards in domestic and international competitions in recent years.He studied at numerous masterclasses with the world's leading guitarists: The Assad Brothers, John Duarte, Roberto Aussel, Manuel Baruecco, Costas Cotsiolis, Carlo Marchione, Nikita Koshkin, Gerhard Reichenbach, Pablo Marquez, etc...Under the patronage of the Spanish embassy, Viktor performed with a famous Spanish guitarst and composer Jose Luis Martinez, with a ''Big Band'' on the occasion of the Spanish inauguration in the post of EU presidency. Viktor has won more than 20 prizes: - State Competition Laureate- GAF (Serbia) 1st Prize- Andres Segovia (Germany) 2nd Prize and the special prize for the best performed piece from Romanticism- International Guitar Festival (Slovenia) 1st PrizeAwards:- The King Karadjordjevich Order winner- Scholarship for young talents Dr Zoran Djindjich- Honourable citizen of his home town
