GroceryUp solves the need for finding grocery products from nearby stores (using ZIP search). The application will provide the merchant page where the merchant can add/edit products and regulate the prices on their own. GroceryUp also provide feeds like twitter but location base. You can also follow the item on that specific store, and if the feed (from the merchant) is based off from that particular item you are following, you will be notified via email/notification bar. Users will have the ability to set the notification settings on their account page as per store and product basis. For example: If I want to follow Okra at some Indian Store nearby, and the merchant decided to add a notification to Okra, you will get the message/notification. You can also set the timing of your notification for this store. User can also ‘Follow' the store as a whole, so that if any notification of any product is provided by store, user will be notified. GroceryUp is not responsible for prices displayed on the application. We at GroceryUp teamed up with AisleFinder (an online grocery finder application) to fetch prices from big merchants like: Wal-Mart, Costco, Winn-Dixie, etc. We are solving the problem of finding best organic grocery items from nearby local shops. We want to make sure that every person who is visiting this application should know that they can get fresh and cheap grocery items from nearest store rather than visiting to Wal-Mart.
