Our MissionHabitat Young Professionals of Kent County, in support of the work of Habitat for Humanity of Kent County, is an organization focused on building hope, transforming lives and eliminating substandard housing through fundraising, networking and other community development activities with young professionals in the area.Our Goal2015 Goals – Our official goal for 2015 is to raise $6,500 dollars towards the sponsorship of a Habitat Home, provide 200 volunteer hours and engage 50 new HYP members.This year, in addition to building our membership base and providing volunteer hours, we will be concentrating our efforts on our two signature events – our annual Build a Spike Volleyball Tournament and our annual Competitive Beer Tasting Event.
