Hand-of-Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing those in need a self-heating meal. Whether people are home-bound, victims of natural disaster, managing a temporary financial crisis or homeless, Hand-of-Hope wants to help. Hand-of-Hope is partnered with organizations and businesses that already provide the "boots on the ground" presence for those in need. Many organizations go door to door to provide services for families and individuals. Many times these families or individuals are home-bound, unable to get to a food pantry or soup kitchen. Hand-of-Hope provides donated, portable meals to anyone working with families in need: social workers, home health services, agencies that provide outreach to the homeless, disaster relief personnel and more.Hand-of-Hope operates on in-kind donations for office needs to keep overhead at a minimum. This allows the highest amount possible to go directly to providing for those in need. These unique, self-heating meals are provided at reduced costs to Hand-of-Hope in order to help those in need.
