Hands to Hearts International (HHI) originally began training orphanage caregivers in Chennai, India, in early 2006. The demand for HHI's training soon grew, and HHI expanded to serve the world's largest early childhood program, India's ICDS, as well as training village mothers and day care workers. By 2013, HHI's partners (past and present) include: -- Medical Teams International, in collaboration on a USAID Child Survival Project, northern Uganda. HHI training for 14,367 parents/caregiver --Save the Children, India, partnering to launch Save's first 0-3 project in India. Trained more than 290 caregivers and 6,700 mothers with young children. --World Education's Bantwana Initiative, HHI is consulting to create a national training program for preschool teachers. HHI improves the health and development of vulnerable children (ages 0-3) globally by training caregivers in nurturing parenting skill and early child development. HHI is a 501c3 organization.
