Happy Roots Foundation is a private charitable foundation serving Ottawa and Lanark County.Our mission is to nurture infant and early childhood mental health by tackling adversity in the early years of life and fostering supportive relationships between young kids and their caregivers.We work with charities in Ottawa & Lanark County to provide funding for children's mental health in the early years, from birth to age six. Physical and mental health is a lifelong journey that takes root on day one. In line with our mission and core values, we seek to move the needle in early childhood mental health and child development. We believe this is possible by devoting resources to programs and projects that focus on reducing exposure to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in the early years and fostering supportive relationships between kids and their caregivers.
