HealthTab Inc. is founded by three UC Davis MBA students with varying backgrounds in the healthcare industry and expertise in technology, finance/ accounting, and sales. We developed HealthTab with both the patient and hospital's needs and goals at the forefront of innovation. Our objective is to provide a tool for live communication between the patient and hospital. In doing so, hospitals will be able to provide improved care based on real time feedback and patients will receive quality care.HealthTab is a patient engagement tool that enables real-time patient monitoring, patient education, branding, and data-mining concealed in a tablet entertainment console. It provides patients with a large selection of entertainment options and educational courses and provides the nursing staff real time feedback, reports on where they can improve and provides an approximation of overall quality of care from the patient perspective. This content will improve hospital Medicare performance metrics, reduce costs, and maximize revenue whirl making customers happier and healthier.HealthTab will change a patients stay at the hospital while making hospitals more efficient. It will provide entertainment, education, more responsive care, better outcomes, and lower costs, benefitting both caregivers and those being cared for. Our goal is to help others to help people when they are in need of inpatient care.
