Where did we start? Hedgeports Company started as a stand alone online distributor of imported products. We imported quality niche products from foreign manufacturers; issued UPC codes and used online distribution channels like Ebay, Amazon and Kijiji and private websites to sell our products. What are we doing now? After seeing the massive advantages and returns one can realize from importing and reselling products. The next logical step was to offer a service that simplifies the whole process for those who did not have the experience and who could not afford to take the risks involved in importing. It was only after processing purchase orders for smaller family run businesses when we realized the potential opportunity to help business owners go direct and bypass today's middleman – wholesalers. Where are we going? The only way to succeed in imports is by establishing a number of successful business relationships. Hedgeports will continue to leverage its relationships for the benefit of small and medium sized companies looking to become more competitive in a continuously growing global free market.
