This international non-profit organization's mission is to Help Orphans Prosper through Education (HOPE). HOPE will construct and operate "Hope Homes" on the African continent—orphanages that, beyond providing a secure and loving home for orphans, will serve as educational academies, giving disadvantaged children not only the support they need to succeed in the classroom, but also opportunities for engagement in the arts, athletics, community service, and environmental studies. To that end, H.O.P.E also runs the Fellows program which is an exciting new approach to volunteering. The HOPE Fellows Program will select its fellows from among the most talented and dedicated university students and recent graduates to spend time abroad at a HOPE Home, where they will teach classes and conduct activities both for children and for the local community. They are responsible for teaching children based on HOPE's Education Program. Our organization believes that with a global education and appropriate nurturing, anyone, no matter where they start in life, can excel and grow into a force for positive change in their community.
