HELPSudan helps people in South Sudan learn, live, and lead better. HELPSudan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by the Lost Boys of Sudan, providing pencils and notebooks for hands that might have taken up arms, and education for minds that once only understood war.HELPSudan serves to fulfill the educational needs of communities in South Sudan. Our goal is to provide children in war-torn Southern Sudan with the educational opportunities they deserve, through fundraising based in the United States and supporters that span 4 continents. Our programs include recruiting school administration, integrating community involvement, providing funding to teachers and administrators, constructing school buildings, and drilling water wells for the school campus.All of our programs are designed to be owned and operated by the communities that they serve. It is our goal to simply provide the community with the resources they need to build a sustainable program. Education is the foundation building block for the re-growth and redevelopment of southern Sudan after 20 years of civil war. It is our hope that HELPSudan's programs will be the catalyst that allows the Sudanese to restore their country to greatness.
