Her Heart is a health promotion charity and registered not-for-profit that aims to educate women on the risks of heart disease. 1 in 3 women die of heart disease, which is largely preventable (over 80%), In Australia that's tragically 1 woman every hour that loses their life, Her Heart aspires to educate and empower women to take control of their lives and make the necessary changes to decrease their risk of developing heart disease.Her Heart speaks to women, about women, and for women. The organisation is committed to working with individuals to raise awareness of heart disease – the biggest killer of Australian women – and increase women's chances of avoiding and/or surviving this ‘silent killer'.
