Founded in January 2014, the HKUST Student Chapter of AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) strives to provide a platform for the academic and professional development of its members. As a professional society, we provide opportunities for students to expand both their academic and industry network and experience the Chemical Engineering discipline first-hand through various plant trips. Apart from organizing self-development activities, we also serve as a platform to encourage sharing and interactions among students from different backgrounds, CBE faculty members, and professional engineers.As a student-led organization, we help develop leadership skills and give students the chance to improve their teamwork skills. We are very proud of our university's curriculum, our professors and take great pride in our chapter. Every year, our chapter looks forward to the opportunity to improve on past accomplishments and continue the journey turning Chemical Engineering into a noble profession in Hong Kong.
